Children’s Day was grandly celebrated at Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul International School with great enthusiasm and joy. The programme began with the garlanding of the portrait of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru by Respected Principal Sir, Dr. B. Nagaraja Naik, accompanied by students and teachers. This was followed by a special assembly conducted entirely by the teachers, adding a warm and personal touch to the celebration.
To delight the children, the teachers prepared a series of fun and engaging performances. Mr. Yashwant Vishwakarma came dressed as Chachaji, interacted with the children, and even sang along with them, creating an atmosphere filled with laughter and excitement. A humorous skit presented by the teachers kept the children thoroughly entertained, and the energetic dance performance by all teachers made the event even more vibrant.
Students were welcomed by their class teachers with Tika and Tilak, symbolizing blessings and affection. A small gift was given to each child as a token of love from the teachers’ side. The students felt truly special and cherished throughout the celebration.
BALANZIA – The Special Attraction of the Day
The most exciting part of the celebration was the inauguration of Balanzia, designed especially for classes 1 to 5 to develop their motor skills and concentration. Balanzia was inaugurated by Chief Guest Mr. Kesav Chandra Singha Roy, GM (O&M), and Mr. Sunil Jha, AGM (C&M), in the esteemed presence of Respected Principal Sir, Dr. B. Nagaraja Naik. Students were visibly curious and eager to walk on the balancing rope, and their excitement added a lively spark to the event.
As a sweet gesture, snacks were distributed to all students, making the day even more joyful. The entire celebration was filled with love, laughter, learning, and unforgettable moments. The children enjoyed the day in full swing, making it a truly memorable Children’s Day at SSGIS.
