Prize Distribution Ceremony for the Drawing Competition on Children’s Day

The drawing competition held on 14th November 2024 at Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul International School, on the joyous occasion of Children’s Day, was an extraordinary event. The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across classes KG to 10, as well as the teaching staff. Organized by the talented Art Teacher, Mr. Manoj Pradhan, the event showcased incredible creativity, originality, and artistic talent.

Topics for the Competition

The topics were designed to inspire imagination and cater to the creative instincts of participants:

KG: Draw your favorite cartoon character and write 5 lines.

Classes 1 & 2: A nature drawing that captures the beauty of the world.

Classes 3 to 5: My Dream Village.

Classes 6 & 7: Where My Gurukul School Stands.

Classes 8 to 10: Life in the Ocean Depths.

Teaching Staff: Farming with Technologies.

Prize Distribution Ceremony

The ceremony began with a warm welcome and a round of applause for all the participants. The drawings, which were displayed for everyone to admire, reflected the immense creativity and diverse perspectives of the Gurukul family.

Our respected Principal, Dr. B. Nagaraja Naik, graced the occasion and presented the prizes to the winners. Before awarding the prizes, Dr. Naik praised the efforts of all participants, encouraging them to continue nurturing their artistic talents and expressing themselves through art.

Winners

KG: Little artists astonished everyone with their vibrant and adorable depictions of cartoon characters. The first prize was awarded to Aarika (LKG) , Yogita, Sanaya (UKG)for his delightful drawing of Mickey Mouse.

Classes 1 & 2: The young nature lovers captured the beauty of the world with innocence and charm. Debansh Behera (Class 1) , Shreeja ,Sudhitditya (Class 2) bagged the prize with her enchanting depiction of a serene forest.

Classes 3 to 5: The theme My Dream Village brought forward imaginative landscapes . Sayana pradhan (Class 3), Rahnoma naz (Class 4), Viraj singh (Class 5) won the top spot with his vision of a self-sustaining, eco-friendly village.

Classes 6 & 7: The participants illustrated the pride and uniqueness of their, B .Sejal Naik (Class 6),Shraddha Agrawal , Meera patel (Class 7) earned prize with her vivid portrayal of the school amidst a beautiful natural backdrop.

Classes 8 to 10: The deep, mysterious world of ocean life came alive through incredible drawings. Kumari Anushka ,Kriti bari (Class 8), Soumya R.khamari (Class 10) won the prize with her intricate and vibrant depiction of life in the ocean depths.

Teaching Staff: The staff impressed everyone with their creative interpretations of Farming with Technologies. Mrs. Divyanshi Singh(EVS Teacher),Nisha Prakash(Maths Teacher), Akanksh Varma(Mother Teacher) received the first prize for her detailed and thought-provoking drawing of smart farming innovations.

Concluding Remarks

Dr. Naik concluded the ceremony by thanking Mr. Manoj Pradhan for organizing such a well-executed competition that not only enhanced creativity but also fostered a sense of joy and learning. He emphasized that art is a universal language and encouraged everyone to explore its transformative power.

The event ended with group photographs of the winners and participants, leaving a memorable mark on the Children’s Day celebration
