English Fiesta – English week Celebration

The English Week Celebration Mega Event Competitions were held on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at the school. The competitions were conducted for various classes, and the winners were announced.

The competitions included Vowel Hunt for Class 1, Poem Recitation for Class 2, Noun Hunt for Class 3, Arranging Words in Alphabetical Order for Class 4, Verb Forms for Class 5, Story Writing for Class 6, Poster Making for Class 7, Advertisement Presentations for Class 8, and Speech Competitions for Classes 9 and 10.

The winners of the competitions were:

– Class 1(A): Vaibhav Mishra (1st), Prisha Gupta and Sanaya Khan (2nd), Harshit Mayank (3rd)
– Class 1(B): Mayra Kumar and Nakul Borkhade (1st), Riddhi Singh (2nd), Yashwin Nanda (3rd)
– Class 2: Ayansh Das (1st), Kashvi Shivhare and Atharv Sharma (2nd), Ananya Gupta (3rd)
– Class 3: Sudhitaditya, Debapriya Behera, and Saksham Agrawal
– Class 4: Idhika Prajapati and Akshat Pradhan (1st), Mishika Kaser (2nd), Baruni Kaser (3rd)
– Class 5: Ajinkya Patel (1st), Aahana Agrawal (2nd), Abhigyan Naik (3rd)
– Class 6: Atharv Pradhan (1st), Soubhagya Mishra and Suryanshu Mallick (2nd), Anviya M and Chhayank Viswakarma (3rd)
– Class 7: B. Sejal Naik (1st), Sambhavi Singh (2nd), Dubi Garhtiya (3rd)
– Class 8: Anushka Sahoo, Chinmay and Vivek, Meera Patel
– Class 9: Vaishnavi Swastik Panda and Devashish Sharma, Aabhamsh Abhilash and Amitesh, Shourya Patel
– Class 10: Renu Patel, Shiksha, Shreshthi Ved Prakash

In addition to the student competitions, the ‘English Mega Event Competition: Poster Making Activity for Parents’ was also held. The competition, titled ‘Words into Art – Parent Poster Showcase,’ was open to parents of students, who could participate individually or as a family entry. The themes for the posters included ‘Digital Parenting in Modern Times,’ ‘My Child’s English Learning Journey,’ and ‘Strong Roots Strong Wings.’
From 53 parents who submitted thier posters on 12/07/25, a selection was made based on certain criteria.
The winners of the parent poster making competition were:

1. Mr. Shyam Sundar Sahoo, father of Sanvika Sahoo from class 1A
2. Ms. Puja Rani, mother of Aarav Kumar from class IB
3. Ms. Shabnam Khan, mother of Aryan Khan and Sanaya Khan from class IA
4. Ms. Akshara Madhukalya, mother of Sudhitaditya from class III
5. Sunil Sahoo, father of Tushar Sahoo from class IV
6. Ms. Ashata Sao, mother of Niral Sao from class III
7. Ms. L.Shilpabai, mother of Sejal Naik from class VII

The winners were felicitated with certificates by the respected Principal, Dr. B. Nagaraja Naik, along with the in-charge teachers. The event was a grand success, with the parents not only showcasing their creativity but also motivating the students with their enlightening words.

Overall, the English Week Celebration Mega Event Competitions were a huge success, with students and parents participating enthusiastically and showcasing their talents. The events were a wonderful opportunity for the school community to come together and celebrate the importance of English language and literature.
