English Week Celebration
During the English Week Celebration from 22nd July 2024 to 27th July 2024, Gurukulites actively participated in a series of engaging and educational activities. Each day of the week featured a unique event during the morning assembly:
– *22/7/24:* Action Song
– *23/7/24:* Parts of Speech
– *24/7/24:* Tenses
– *26/7/24:* Life History of Authors
– *27/7/24:* TV Broadcasting
The week culminated in a grand English Mega Event on Saturday, showcasing the talents of students from various classes:
– *Class 1:* Poem Recitation
– *Class 2:* Speech on My School
– *Class 3:* Show and Tell
– *Class 4:* Storytelling
– *Class 5:* Words Scrambled
– *Class 6:* Text Correction
– *Class 7:* Idioms and Proverbs
– *Class 8:* Listening Task
– *Classes 9 & 10:* Kahoot Quiz
In addition to these activities, a special *Riddle Corner* competition was organized for parents and students. Daily riddles in English were posted on the notice board, and participants submitted their answers throughout the week. Winners were selected and their names were circulated in the class groups, adding an extra layer of excitement to the celebrations. This event not only enhanced language skills but also fostered a sense of community and fun among students and parents alike. The winners of the English Mega Event were honored with certificates, recognizing their outstanding performances and achievements. These certificates were presented as a token of appreciation for their hard work, creativity, and enthusiasm during the various competitions. The awards served as a motivation for all participants, encouraging them to continue honing their language skills and striving for excellence in future events.
