From Screens to Sense – Sadvidya Week Reflections

Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul International School, NTPC Lara, celebrated Sadvdiyā Week with the inspiring theme “Are You a Slave or Master of Media?” The celebration aimed to create awareness among students about the responsible and purposeful use of media in modern life.

Throughout the week, a series of engaging and thought-provoking activities were conducted. The program began with a PPT session by coordinators highlighting the impact of media on human behavior. An interactive session encouraged students to share useful and lesser-known media tools. House-wise PPT presentations on “Power of Media” and a debate on “Will AI Make Humans Smarter or Lazier?” enhanced critical thinking and communication skills.

The week concluded with student–coordinator interactions, where students presented innovative ideas on becoming masters of media. Under the “Har Char Shikshapatri” Movement, students also spread Gurukul’s moral teachings in society.

The celebration truly embodied the Gurukul spirit — blending modern awareness with traditional wisdom and nurturing responsible, ethical, and enlightened learners.
