Hindi Week Celebration
The Hindi Week Celebration held from 09/09/2024 to 14/09/2024 at Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul International School was a vibrant event dedicated to fostering students’ understanding and appreciation of the Hindi language. Each day featured special activities and assemblies:
– *Monday*: The event kicked off with an introduction to the Hindi language, and students were given an overview of the activities scheduled for the week.
– *Tuesday*: Children from classes 1 and 2 performed a delightful presentation of the Hindi alphabet, setting a joyous tone for the rest of the week.
– *Wednesday*: The assembly focused on the Parts of Speech in Hindi, providing students with foundational linguistic knowledge.
– *Thursday*: A poetry recitation event showcased the talents of students from classes 1 to 10, offering a platform for creative expression.
– *Friday*: Sanskrit Day was celebrated as the mother of the Hindi language. Students participated in storytelling sessions and performed a drama based on the Vedas, linking modern Hindi to its ancient roots.
– *Saturday*: The grand finale featured a speech by Mrs. Janhawi Pradhan, followed by a cultural program that included a dance performance and puzzles, bringing the week to a delightful close.
Additionally, a series of class-wise mega events and competitions were held:
– *Classes 1 & 2*: Students presented ten lines on any object of their choice.
– *Class 3*: A poetry recitation competition.
– *Class 4*: Storytelling, allowing students to narrate engaging tales.
– *Class 5*: Square puzzle competition.
– *Class 6*: Pick and speak activity, fostering impromptu speaking skills.
– *Class 7*: Paragraph writing on given topics.
– *Class 8*: Students showcased their marketing skills through an advertising presentation.
– *Class 9*: Essay writing competition.
– *Class 10*: Writing a short story and giving it a title.
