The Little Champs Sports Fiesta was celebrated with great enthusiasm and energy at Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul International School on 18th December 2024, Wednesday. The day began with a warm and vibrant atmosphere as everyone gathered to celebrate the young athletes of the Kindergarten section.

Grand Opening Ceremony

The event commenced with a heartfelt welcome to the esteemed dignitaries:

1. Chief Guest: Shri. Anil Kumar, ED of NTPC LARA.

2. Guest of Honour: Reverent Shri Ravi Shankar, GM Project.

3. Special Guests: Respected Shri Jakir Khan, HoHR NTPC LARA,

The dignitaries lit the ceremonial lamp of wisdom, symbolizing the inauguration of the event. This was followed by a melodious Welcome Song sung by the KG students, showcasing their innocence and charm.

Mesmerizing Performances

The stage was then taken over by the tiny tots, who left the audience spellbound with their performances:

An energetic March past by the UKG students, led by the Sports Day Marshal, displaying their discipline and coordination.

A Dumbbell Dance by UKG students, which was nothing short of a visual delight.

A Colourful Umbrella Dance by the LKG students, spreading joy and vibrant energy.

Inspirational Speeches

The Chief Guest’s Address inspired and encouraged the little champions, applauding their energy and enthusiasm. This was followed by the Principal’s Address, where he emphasized the importance of sports in a child’s holistic development.

Exciting Competitions and Games

The competitions were divided into segments for both students and parents, creating a lively and inclusive atmosphere.

Student Competitions

LKG 50-meter race: A thrilling race that saw tiny feet sprinting with enthusiasm.

UKG 100-meter race: A showcase of speed and determination.

After a short lunch break, the games resumed with more engaging activities:

LKG – Thread of Joy Game: Focus and patience were on full display.

UKG Puzzle Race: Young minds worked quickly to solve puzzles.

LKG Ball Transfer Challenge: Team spirit and coordination shone bright.

UKG Hockey Game: A mini version of the sport that brought cheers from the audience.

Parents’ Competitions

The parents actively participated in the games, adding excitement and fun to the event:

Running Race (Gents & Ladies): Parents displayed their agility and competitive spirit.

Sack Race (Gents): A hilarious yet competitive game that brought smiles to everyone.

Tyre Race (Ladies): A unique challenge that was thoroughly enjoyed by all.

3 Leg Race for the parents was the notable game, which revealed the unity and coordination in the ground.

Prize Distribution

Winners of all the events were awarded medals and certificates, boosting their confidence and celebrating their efforts.

Concluding Ceremony

The day ended on a high note with a vote of thanks delivered by Ms. Sanjulata Nayak, who expressed gratitude to the dignitaries, teachers, parents, and students for making the event a grand success. The event concluded with the Victory Bloom Ceremony, marking a memorable and joyous day for everyone.

The Little Champs Sports Fiesta was truly a celebration of the young learners’ energy, enthusiasm, and talent. It left everyone inspired, entertained, and proud of the future champions.
