Honesty Shop Inauguration - Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul International School

HONESTY IS THE FASTEST WAY TO PREVENT A MISTAKE FROM TURNING INTO A FAILURE

In a bid to instil honesty in students, Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul International School NTPC Lara inaugurated an Honesty Shop on 27th July 2024. This shop operates without a shopkeeper, relying on students to take items from an almirah and deposit the correct payment into a collection box. The initiative was inaugurated today by Mrs. Anuradha Sharma, President, Prerita Mahila Samiti in the august presence of senior members of ladies club & Principal Dr. B. Nagaraja Naik.
The primary goal of an Honesty Shop is to inculcate the habit of honesty among students. By providing a practical scenario where students are trusted to pay for what they take, schools aim to teach the importance of honesty and self-regulation.
