Kiddie Olympics | Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul International School

The Kiddie Olympics 2025 was conducted with great enthusiasm and excitement for the KG students on 18th December 2025. The event turned into a vibrant celebration of joy, energy, and togetherness, where irrespective of age, everyone enjoyed it thoroughly. The introduction of new and innovative games added to the charm of the event and thrilled the parents, making the day truly memorable.

The programme began with the warm welcome of the Chief Guest, Shri Mahaveer Singh, Deputy Commander, NTPC Lara, who was graciously welcomed by the respected Principal, Dr. B. Nagaraja Naik. The lighting of the lamp by the Chief Guest marked the auspicious beginning of the event. The Kiddie Olympics 2025 was formally inaugurated by the Chief Guest along with the Principal, setting a positive and energetic tone for the day.

The cultural segment was a visual treat for the audience. The KG students presented a melodious Welcome Song, filling the atmosphere with cheer and innocence. This was followed by a Lazim Dance by the UKG students, showcasing their coordination and confidence. The Hula Hoop Dance by the LKG students added colour and excitement, while the Yoga Dance performed by the LKG students beautifully reflected discipline and flexibility. Each performance stole the hearts of the audience, and the children were applauded for their enthralling and delightful performances.

The March Past by the KG students, led by Ms. Sanjulata Nayak was a proud moment as the tiny tots marched with confidence and discipline. The role of Sports Day Marshal was efficiently handled by the students under the guidance of the sports teacher, ensuring smooth conduct of the events.

With the ceremonial events completed, the sports competitions began. The UKG 100-meter race marked the start of the track events, followed by the address by the Chief Guest, who appreciated the school’s efforts in nurturing holistic development among children. This was followed by the Principal’s address, highlighting the importance of sports in building confidence, teamwork, and physical fitness.

One of the most interesting and nostalgic games was the Balancing Pot with Water, conducted separately for gents and ladies. The gents balanced the pot on their shoulders while the ladies balanced it on their waists to reach the finishing point. This activity brought immense joy and laughter, as parents fondly recalled their childhood memories.

Another highlight of the day was the family game, where fathers were required to get their child ready for school, after which both parents, along with the child, raced to the finishing point together. This event created an atmosphere of excitement, bonding, and fun, leaving everyone highly entertained.

The Kiddie Olympics 2025 concluded on a happy note, leaving behind beautiful memories for students, parents, and staff alike. The event successfully strengthened the bond between the school and parents while promoting sportsmanship, teamwork, and joyful learning among the little ones.
