On September 3, students of classes 8 and 9 visited the Red Cross Society Old Age Home in Raigarh, embodying the school’s core philosophy of blending vidya and sadvidya with Brahmavidya. Accompanied by principal Dr. B. Nagaraja Naik and teachers Mr. Vikas Gupta, Mr. Dushyant Singh Sao, Ms. Shresthashree Ratha, and Ms. Ranjini M K, the young visitors brought warmth and comfort to the 32 resident elders through thoughtful donations of clothes, toiletries, and food items pooled by the staff and students. This generous gesture opened the door to a deeply touching encounter, as the residents overwhelmed with joy and emotion realized they had an eager audience willing to listen to their stories. Some wept tears of sheer happiness simply to feel remembered and valued, holding close the young visitors who sat beside them to share in their joys, worries, and life histories.
