Raksha bandhan - Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul International School

RAKSHABANDAN CELEBRATIONOn 16th August 2024, the KG students of Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul International School celebrated Raksha Bandhan with immense joy and enthusiasm. The celebration began with the young students tying Rakhis to each other, symbolizing the bond of love and protection that the festival represents. The event was graced by the presence of the principal and teachers, who also participated in the ceremony, adding to the warmth and camaraderie of the occasion.

After the in-school celebration, the students, along with their teachers, visited the CISF unit at the NTPC LARA office. The children tied Rakhis to the CISF personnel, expressing their gratitude and respect for the security forces who protect the nation. The joy and excitement of the students were evident as they danced and enjoyed the moment, creating a lively and festive atmosphere. The event not only celebrated the traditional values of Raksha Bandhan but also instilled a sense of respect and appreciation for those who dedicate their lives to the service of the country.
