Saluting The Brave: Army Day Celebration At SSGIS

Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul International School (SSGIS) solemnly celebrated Army Day on 15th January, paying heartfelt tribute to the brave soldiers of the Indian Army who tirelessly guard our nation’s borders and protect us from all threats and invasions. The day was dedicated to remembering the courage, sacrifice, and unwavering dedication of our soldiers who ensure the safety, sovereignty, and pride of our country.
The programme aimed to instill a sense of patriotism, respect, and gratitude among students for the selfless service rendered by the armed forces. Through the celebration, students were made aware of the significance of Army Day and the vital role played by the Indian Army in safeguarding the nation.
Adding meaning and inspiration to the occasion, Ms. Sibangee Pradhan of Class 6 confidently stepped into the role of a soldier and shared her views on Army Day, highlighting the bravery, discipline, and commitment of soldiers who stand firm in all circumstances for the nation. Her expressive role-play and speech left a strong impression on everyone present and encouraged fellow students to respect and honour the armed forces.
The celebration concluded with a moment of silence, during which students and staff paid homage to each and every soldier who secures our nation and upholds the pride of India. The event served as a powerful reminder that the freedom and peace we enjoy today are a result of the sacrifices made by our courageous soldiers.
