‘Sparkles of Joy: A Diwali Celebration’ The Diwali celebration in the KG section at Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul International School was a vibrant and joyful event that beautifully blended tradition with learning. The celebration commenced with a heartfelt prayer, creating a peaceful and spiritual atmosphere for the young students and teachers.
Following the prayer, a ceremonial *Puja of Goddess Lakshmi* was performed, allowing the children to witness and understand the cultural rituals associated with Diwali. Ms. Sanjulata Nayak shared the *significance of the day*, explaining the values of prosperity, gratitude, and the victory of light over darkness, helping the young minds grasp the deeper meaning of the festival.
To make the storytelling engaging, an *animation video of the Ramayana* was played, highlighting the return of Lord Rama to Ayodhya after his exile, a key event celebrated during Diwali. This visual storytelling captivated the children and made the cultural narrative accessible and enjoyable.
The celebration continued with colorful decorations and activities, filling the environment with the festive spirit of Diwali. Teachers also participated in an eco-friendly initiative by *planting saplings*, demonstrating gratitude toward nature and encouraging sustainable practices.
