Together Towards Tomorrow -Parent Orientation Programme | Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul International School

The Parent Orientation Programme for the academic session 2025–26 was conducted with great enthusiasm and active participation at Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul International School, NTPC Lara.

The program commenced at 10:00 AM, with a warm welcome extended to all dignitaries, parents, and attendees by the host, Ms. Harmeet Kaur. The event was graced by several esteemed chief guests, who were warmly felicitated on stage:

Following the felicitation, the dignitaries along with the Principal proceeded to perform the ceremonial lamp lighting, symbolizing the beginning of a bright academic journey ahead.

A proud moment followed when the dignitaries honored the exceptional students of Class 10 ,
Tushar Sharma, Anmol Agrawal, Avin Singh, Rajneesh, Manjula Nayak, Niven Patley, and Abhay Kumar – with mementos as tokens of appreciation for their achievements and efforts.

In line with the school’s emphasis on Women Empowerment, Manjula Nayak was presented with financial support to pursue her Plus One and Plus Two education, a noble gesture that reflects the values nurtured at SSGIS.

Adding to the pride, Tushar Sharma, the topper of Class 10, was offered admission to the Hyderabad branch free of cost – a golden milestone and a proud feather in the cap of the institution.

Parents of Class 10 students were invited to share their thoughts and happiness, making the event more heartfelt and engaging.

Further, the G Star Achievers from Classes 1 to 9 were honored with badges and certificates by the distinguished guests, applauding their all-round performance.

In the next segment of the event, the Chief Guest of the day, Honorable Ms. Anuradha Sharma, shared her insightful thoughts, encouraging students and appreciating the school’s progress.
Shri Ravi Shankar, GM – Project, inspired the gathering by highlighting the steps students need to take and emphasized the importance of education in shaping the future.
Shri Faiz Tayab (O&M) addressed the students and parents, underscoring the importance of clearing concepts and the confidence to raise hands and ask questions for better understanding.

The Principal, Dr. B. Nagaraja Naik, addressed the gathering, presenting a detailed overview of the academic plans, goals, and initiatives for the current year. He emphasized collaboration between school and parents in the holistic development of children.

The programme concluded with a Question and Answer Session, where parents were encouraged to voice their queries and suggestions, which were addressed effectively.

The event came to an end with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks, acknowledging the presence and contribution of every individual who made the event a success.

The Parent Orientation Programme marked a wonderful start to the academic year 2025–26. It laid a strong foundation for partnership, transparency, and growth between the school and its parent community, making it a memorable and motivating day for all.
