Seed of Seva

Every incredible journey begins with a seed — and for Jagdish Satashiya, that seed was seva.

Born in a small village near Junagadh, young Jagdish joined Junagadh Gurukul, where he learned that true education is not only confined to books, but blossoms through serving Saints.

Cutting vegetables & serving food — every act of seva became his meditation. Through this humble service, he cultivated devotion, discipline, and inner strength. Those moments, simple yet sacred, planted deep in his heart the values that would guide his life forever.

From those early days, his purpose took form — to live with values, serve Saints with sincerity, and walk in the light of Satsang.

Bangalore: A Leap of Faith Against All Odds

After finishing his engineering degree, Jagdish faced the harsh reality of unemployment. Instead of chasing quick opportunities, he chose to stay committed to the company of Saints, entering Bangalore Gurukul with the blessings of Pujya Anandswarupdas Swami.

Nights were unpredictable, and rejections happened often, but his faith never faltered.

This time of waiting became a crucible of patience and hope, setting the stage for a divine breakthrough.

Saints Who Changed His Path

Recognizing his dedication, Saints at Bangalore Gurukul reached out to Shri Himmatbhai Solankee, a devotee deeply connected to Saints and an experienced engineer. Shri Himmatbhai’s simple act of arranging admission to a coaching program became a pivotal turning point.

This kindness ignited Jagdish’s journey toward professional and spiritual growth.

Rising With Blessings in Denmark

Jagdish joined Larsen & Toubro, then Infineon in Denmark, where he worked for nearly a decade. During the global economic crises in 2009, 2013, and 2017, many faced layoffs. Yet, Jagdish remained protected, fortified by the blessings of Pujya Krushnacharandasji Swami.

Through each challenge, his career advanced, but more importantly, he grew in satsang and seva.

A Divinely Guided Transition

After returning to India in 2019, Jagdish joined Intel Bangalore. In 2020, when Apple acquired Intel’s cellular modem business, a tough selection process began.

Though the fear of rejection was real, by the divine grace of Bhagwan Swaminarayan and the blessings of Saints, Jagdish successfully secured his place — a testament to how divine blessings triumph over worldly fear.

He was selected among the few—proof that blessings and satsang triumph over luck.

Unfazed by Success, Continuing Daily Satsang and Seva

After joining Apple, Jagdish felt a deep sense of gratitude toward Bhagwan Swaminarayan and the Saints. To express that gratitude through action and Seva, he made a life-changing decision: he rented out his house in Bangalore city and moved with his family into a rented home just five minutes from Gurukul Bangalore, so he could live closer to the Saints, engage in daily Seva, and participate more deeply in the satsang he cherished.

Who is he? What is he doing now?

Today, Jagdish serves as an Engineering Manager at Apple in Bangalore, yet success hasn’t changed his true essence:

He has proven himself to be a true Gurukulite and a devoted follower of Bhagwan Swaminarayan.
