Published On: August 27, 2026

The KG class of SSGIS celebrated Raksha Bandhan on 27th August with remarkable enthusiasm and joy, guided by Principal Dr. B. Nagaraja Naik alongside teachers Ms. Sanjulata Nayak, Mr. Vikas Gupta, Ms. Sanjana Yadav, Ms. Reeta Panda, and Ms. Sheetal Sona. The festivities began at school, where the young learners joyfully tied beautiful rakhis to one another and exchanged gifts to honor their bonds of friendship. To express gratitude for their daily service and care, the children also tied rakhis to the school driver bhaiya. This initial segment filled the classrooms with warmth, laughter, and an early understanding of mutual appreciation and togetherness.

Extending the spirit of the festival beyond the classroom walls, the children and staff visited a local Anganwadi to share the celebration with younger children. The KG students lovingly tied rakhis and distributed gifts to the toddlers, turning the visit into a deeply heartwarming and memorable community experience. Through these thoughtful acts of sharing, kindness, and caring, the young learners embraced the true essence of Raksha Bandhan, making the day a profound lesson in empathy and social harmony.
