2nd October 2025 – Dussehra

On this auspicious day of Dussehra, Krishna Seervi and his family planned a joyful trip with relatives. Two cars set off for a journey to Melkote and Dhanushkoti to have darshan of the historic temples of Narsimh Bhagwan. After completing their darshan and visits, they decided to continue to Shravanabelagola and Gomateshwara.

However, tragedy struck just 5–6 km from Melkote. The car was traveling at a speed of 90 to 100 km/h. Due to the rain and a very zigzag road, their car slipped and hit a tree. The impact was sudden and horrifying. Krishna’s father sustained a shoulder injury, his uncle who was driving suffered a chest injury, the car’s windshield shattered completely, and Krishna himself felt a sudden back force and automatically jumped out of the car window.

Despite the severity of the accident, by the grace of Ghanshyam Maharaj, the family survived even without the airbags deploying. Krishna’s father suffered a fractured hand, Krishna had a leg injury, and his uncle was hurt—but everyone was alive and safe.

Krishna was wearing the sanctified Kanthi of Bhagwan Swaminarayan, given to him by Swamiji in Gurukul, around his neck. He attributes this miraculous survival entirely to Bhagwan Swaminarayan’s protection.

The real essence of this story lies not in the accident—but in what Krishna did after that. Even after experiencing such a traumatic incident, Krishna did not miss his Thursday Satsang, held on the very day of Dussehra. He joined Thursday Satsang with Japmala and received the blessings of Swamiji.

His unwavering commitment to Thursday Satsang reflects the spiritual strength he has built through years of Gurukul Sanskars, including daily morning pooja, Mansi Pooja, Ekadashi fasting, and regular Thursday Satsang attendance.

In a world where most people skip Satsang and spend time on social media, OTT platforms, and TV, Krishna is investing his time in Satsang and devotion. When someone has such commitment to Satsang and devotion, how can God let him down? Why would God not protect him?

Through his actions, Krishna Seervi has demonstrated what it truly means to be a Gurukulite and a devoted follower of Bhagwan Swaminarayan.
