In 1948, Shastriji Maharaj Shri Dharmajivandasji Swami started 1st Gurukul in India after independence. By the noble thought of “How much independence is need of India, same way Independent India needs a noble and good citizens”
With 7 Students, Shastriji Maharaj started gurukul in Rajkot, Gujarat. Since then, 75 Years has passed and today in more than 50 branches across the globe, more than 50000 students are getting education along with Sanskars.
Shastriji Maharaj started Gurukul based on three key aspects: Vidya (Modern Education), Sadvidya (Traditional Education), Brahmavidya (Spiritual Education).
To celebrate this noble journey Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul Organization is Organizing Amrut Mahotsav from 22nd to 26th December 2022 at Rajkot, Gujarat. Let’s join together to celebrate this occasion of 75 Years of Rajkot Gurukul.
