This meeting was a significant milestone in realizing the late Hon’ble Chief Minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy’s desire to allocate 100 acres of land to the Gurukul. The current Hon’ble Chief Minister, Sri Jaganmohan Reddy, took the initiative to fulfil his father’s vision backed by former minister of AP Shri Jalgamprasad Rao, s/o late Former Hon’ble chief minister of AP Shri Jalgam Vengal Rao. During the meeting, the saints of the Gurukul passionately explained the institution’s activities and its potential for enriching the lives of the students and the community.
On 18th April 2023, site visits were conducted to assess the suitability of the allocated land for Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul. The purpose of these visits was to ensure that the chosen location aligned with the institution’s requirements and aspirations. These visits served as an opportunity to evaluate the surroundings, infrastructure, and other essential aspects necessary for establishing a Gurukul.
On 15th June 2023, the Andhra Pradesh government showed available lands to representatives. As per Gurukul’s convenience, Govt. issued an order formally allocating land to Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul. This order solidified the government’s commitment towards supporting the institution’s vision and providing the necessary resources for its growth.
Tirupati, known as the “Sacred City“, has been bestowed with the honour of hosting Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul. The city holds deep spiritual significance and is renowned for its divine atmosphere. Tirupati holds profound significance for the devout followers of Bhagwan Shree Swaminarayan, as the Bhagwan Swaminarayan in the form of Nilkanth Varni himself graced the holy grounds of Tirupati and had darshan of Tirupati Balaji and staid at Tirupati for 4 days.

On 29th June 2023, Nimi Ekadashi, an auspicious day, witnessed the official handover of the allocated land to Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul. The land was bestowed upon the Gurukul, setting the stage for the realization of its vision to impart knowledge and instil moral values in the students.
On 16th July 2023, a moment of divine significance unfolded as Mahant Swamiji arrived at the sacred land of Tirupati Gurukul. The atmosphere was charged with anticipation, heralding the dawn of an extraordinary chapter in Tirupati’s history and under the divine guidance of Pujya Mahant Swami, the Bhumi Pujan ceremony of Gurukul Tirupati commenced. The air was infused with spirituality as the celestial Abhishek Jal, sanctified by the divine blessings of Shastriji Maharaj’s Thakorji, merged with the sacred Prasadi Jal of Tirupati Balaji Bhagwan. Their divine union cascaded upon the land of Gurukul Tirupati, bestowing an unparalleled grace.
