Tilak Tika Competition

With the blessings of Supreme Godhead Lord Shree Swaminarayan and under the guidance of Pujaya Saints.
Today on the pious day of 07th June, 2024, Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul International School, Mysore.
Organised an Intra-House Tilak Tikka Competition for the students of all 4 Houses.
The event started with a demo training to students on ‘How to Apply Tilak-Tikka’ alongwith the discussion on importance and benefits of applying Tilak-Tikka.
Students also learnt that the vertical lines pointing upwards show that the Tilak mark leads upward to Akshardham (the divine abode of Lord Shree Swaminarayan). The red mark is the symbol of Lakshmiji (spiritual prosperity) living in the heart of Shree Hari.
Students Participated actively and winners from all four Houses were blessed by Principal Shriharsha Joshi Sir.
