Deepotsav Celebration | Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul International School

On 21-10-2025, at Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul International School, Vijayawada, we celebrated a grand and divine occasion — the Deepotsav marking 200 glorious years of the Shikshapatri 🕉️✨. The entire Gurukul campus was filled with a spiritual aura and festive radiance as students enthusiastically participated in this sacred celebration 🙏🏽. The event began with great devotion as students performed seva 🪔 to prepare for the Deepotsav. They beautifully arranged and structured rows of deepas, creating a mesmerizing and spiritual ambiance all around the campus 🌟.

After the arrangement was complete, the 10th-grade students had the honor of lighting the deepas 🔥, symbolizing the spreading of light, knowledge, and righteousness taught by Bhagwan Shree Swaminarayan through the holy Shikshapatri 📜. As the lamps illuminated the surroundings, the divine light created a serene and peaceful atmosphere 🌼. Every student, upon witnessing the glittering rows of lamps, was filled with deep devotion and spiritual joy 💫. Their hearts overflowed with faith and gratitude towards Bhagwan Shree Swaminarayan for blessing them with such sacred teachings 🙌🏽.

Following the lighting ceremony, all the students joined together in singing kirtans and dhun 🎶, filling the air with melodious devotion. The rhythmic chants and harmonious voices resonated throughout the campus, making everyone experience a divine connection 💖. The presence and blessings of Pujya Manthra Swaroop Dasji Swamiji and Pujya Krushnamurthi Dasji Swamiji added immense spiritual energy and inspiration to the celebration 🌺🙏🏽.

After the divine assembly concluded, the students joyfully celebrated by bursting crackers 🎆, adding color and excitement to the evening 🎇. The entire Gurukul was filled with light, devotion, and happiness 😊. The Deepotsav truly reflected the essence of the Shikshapatri — guiding everyone toward a life of purity, devotion, and enlightenment 🕯️🕊️.
