A day filled with color, creativity, and commitment! The primary students of Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul School Nagpur celebrated Raksha Bandhan with immense joy and cultural spirit. The entire event centered around the sacred tradition of Rakhi making, where little hands—guided by big imaginations—carefully crafted beautiful threads of love and protection.
We watched as they meticulously glued, decorated, and personalized each Rakhi, learning that this simple thread symbolizes the strongest bond of affection between a brother and sister. Later, the children participated in the ceremony, reinforcing the values of respect, care, and duty that this ancient festival represents. It’s more than just a festival; it’s a living lesson in preserving our rich heritage. Seeing our young ones embrace these traditions with such enthusiasm truly warms our hearts.
