Radiance of Light – The Spirit of Diwali at Gurukul

The festival of lights, Diwali, was celebrated with immense joy and devotion at Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul International School, NTPC Lara, on 15th October 2025. The entire school campus glowed with festive cheer, symbolizing the triumph of light over darkness and good over evil.

The celebration began with the garlanding of Goddess Lakshmi by Respected Principal Dr. B. Nagaraja Naik, invoking blessings of prosperity, peace, and happiness for everyone. The divine atmosphere was further enriched by the Aarti performed by teachers along with students, filling the surroundings with spiritual energy and devotion.

To enlighten the gathering about the essence of the festival, Ms. Sanjulata Nayak beautifully explained the significance of Diwali, emphasizing the importance of inner purity, righteousness, and spreading joy through acts of kindness and sharing.

The celebration instilled in the students the values of unity, positivity, and gratitude, reminding them that Diwali is not just about lighting lamps but also about illuminating our hearts with goodness and knowledge.

The program concluded with everyone extending festive greetings to one another, carrying home a spirit filled with hope, happiness, and togetherness.
