Published On: November 3, 2026

The Kindergarten (KG) Section at SSGIS came alive with vibrant colors, warmth, and festive fervor on November 3rd as the young learners and educators gathered to celebrate Diwali, the festival of lights. The grand event commenced on a auspicious note with a traditional pooja, invoking blessings of peace, joy, and prosperity for the entire school community. To deepen the children’s cultural root and understanding, the teachers shared the timeless significance of Diwali, explaining how it symbolizes the triumph of light over darkness and good over evil, while commemorating the revered return of Lord Rama to Ayodhya. The atmosphere was further illuminated by the little ones themselves, who enthralled everyone with their enthusiastic dance performances and melodious singing, filling the hall with pure charm and energy.

Continuing the spirit of learning through creative engagement, the highlight of the celebration was the interactive Ram Setu Activity. Through this hands-on storytelling experience, the children were immersed in the legendary epic of Lord Rama and the collaborative construction of the famous bridge to Lanka, instilling key values of teamwork, devotion, and perseverance. The day drew to a close leaving behind cherished memories, bright smiles, and a deep appreciation for rich cultural traditions. It was truly a heartwarming celebration that blended devotion, valuable learning, and artistic expression, spreading the light of unity and festive spirit across SSGIS.
